The Swashbuckler Route 66 Guitar Strap combines the design elements of our 2-inch model with the 1 and 1/8-inch version.
The Swashbuckler Route 66 Silver on Black Guitar strap is designed to have just enough bling to be noticed but not be overstated and gaudy. It's low profile design allows you to have a cutting edge without the big bulk of traditional studded guitar straps.
The Route 66 design is crafted from a classic double buckle grommeted belt made popular in the late '60s and '70s.
Crafted from ultra-soft leather, the 2-inch width offers the comfort you’ve come to expect from Al Bane for Leather, while the 1 1/8-inch width ensures that your guitar remains free from obstruction when playing high frets on the neck.
This innovative design was inspired by our friend Tony Higbee, who favored the striking 'Swashbuckling' D-ring.
During the creation of Tony's original strap, our friend Brad Wolfman, AKA Critter, requested a similar design but with decorations reminiscent of our JD 1 and 1/8-inch guitar strap.
This guitar strap is fully adjustable from 50 to 61 inches, featuring a robust 2in double prong harness buckle along with a gromented Billet.
The D-ring is mounted 11 inches up from the front of the guitar giving the 1in section plenty of room to swing.
All hardware is Silver on black leather.
