The Swashbuckler Plenty Good guitar strap combines the design elements of our 2-inch model with the 1 and 1/8-inch version.

The Plenty Good is decorated with 1/4-in X 3/4" oblong spots in a parallel pattern. It's designed to have just enough bling to be noticed but not be overstated and gaudy. It's low profile design allows you to have a cutting edge without the big bulk of traditional studded guitar straps.

We named it plenty good because of the resemblance of the studs to a classic candy with a similar name.

Crafted from ultra-soft leather, the 2-inch width offers the comfort you’ve come to expect from Al Bane for Leather, while the 1 1/8-inch width ensures that your guitar remains free from obstruction when playing high frets on the neck.

This innovative design was inspired by our friend Tony Higbee, who favored the striking 'Swashbuckling' D-ring.

During the creation of Tony's original strap, our friend Brad Wolfman, also known as Critter, requested a similar design but with decorations reminiscent of our JD 1 and 1/8-inch guitar strap.

In the sample-making phase, this project was temporarily titled "Higbee's Critter," but eventually, the name Critters Swashbuckler prevailed.

This guitar strap is fully adjustable from 50 to 61 inches.
featuring a robust 2 in double prong harness buckle along with a gromented Billet.
The d-ring is mounted 11 inches up from the front of the guitar giving the 1-in section plenty of room to swing.
The hardware is Silver on black leather.
If you thought our guitar straps were comfortable before wait until you try the swashbuckler. I guarantee you will be surprised.
Like anything we produce our products are all handcrafted by American Craftsman in Los Angeles California.
We made one very similar guitar strap for our friend George Lynch and he wore it extensively during 2025
