The Swashbuckler guitar strap combines the design elements of our 2-inch model with the 1 and 1/8-inch version.
Crafted from ultra-soft leather, the 2-inch width offers the comfort youāve come to expect from Al Bane for Leather, while the 1 and 1/8-inch width ensures that your guitar remains free from obstruction when playing high frets on the neck.
This innovative design was inspired by our friend Tony Higbee, who favored the striking 'Swashbuckling' D-ring.
During the creation of Tony's original strap, our friend Brad Wolfman, also known as Critter, requested a similar design but with decorations reminiscent of our JD 1 and 1/8-inch guitar strap.
In the sample-making phase, this project was temporarily titled "Higbee's Critter," but eventually, the name Critters Swashbuckler prevailed.
