Our guitar straps are made of a composite leather.
The body of the strap is made from hand selected upholstery leathers that we laminate together a lot like plywood is laminated.
The ends where the guitar mounts are made out of a heavy duty buffalo hide.
We use a ton of adhesive to bond it all together and then stitch it with the heaviest thread available on the market.
We use eight individual threads to sew this strap together and each thread is able to withstand 200 lb of static weight. That's 1600 lb of static weight that this product can hold. Your 12 lb guitar has nothing to worry about.
